The party branch of the group company and the party branch of the container sector jointly carried out the "CIMC Pioneer Forest" tree planting activity
Grass and trees are spreading, and spring mountains are within reach. On the occasion of the 45th National Arbor Day, in order to actively practice the concept of green development and fully reflect CIMC's sense of responsibility and mission. On March 15, the general party branch of China International Marine Containers and the general party branch of the container sector jointly carried out a tree planting activity of "CIMC Pioneer Forest" in the south CIMC plant in Fenggang, Dongguan. More than 60 members, including Ma Tianfei and Du Guangzeng, members of the General Party Branch of the Group Company, Li Ming, Secretary of the Fifth Party Branch of the Group Company, Hu Zhiwei, Qu Baitao, Gao Jianwen, Li Xia, and Zhang Jun, members of the General Party Branch of the Container Sector, Liu Xiaoxu, General Manager of Southern CIMC, as well as party members, youth league members, and volunteer representatives from the General Party Branch and Container Sector of the Group Company, participated in this event.
Planting trees and afforestation is a specific action pointed out in the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China by CIMC to promote green development and promote harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, which has strong demonstration and publicity significance. In the presence of all participants, leaders such as Ma Tianfei, Hu Zhiwei, and Liu Xiaoxu jointly unveiled the commemorative stone of "CIMC Pioneer Forest", officially launching this tree planting activity.
Entering the formal tree planting activity, everyone worked in a group of three with high enthusiasm and close cooperation. They dug holes, supported seedlings and soil, stepped on soil for planting, and pulled water for irrigation... They were meticulous, diligent, and full of enthusiasm. The scene was filled with a warm atmosphere of happy labor, and together they planted and stabilized the tree species with the beautiful intention of "planting green, protecting green, and developing green".
Everyone looked at the newly planted saplings standing tall in the wind, filled with emotions. The party representatives on the scene said that, as a Communist party member, we should firmly establish the concept of "Clear waters and green mountains" in our future work, unswervingly follow the path of ecological priority and green development, continue to be guided by the "dual carbon" goal, strengthen the awareness of green development, and be the "pioneer" of green development. The youth representative stated that the saplings stand tall in the wind to express the spring spirit, which also represents the vitality of the young people in CIMC. In the future, they should lead by example, strive to be advocates, practitioners, and promoters of green development, gather "trickle down force" in the name of youth, and answer the "green answer sheet" well. Volunteer representatives stated that in their future work and life, they should continue to shoulder the responsibility of beautifying the environment, actively fulfill their glorious obligations, spread the enthusiasm for volunteer services, and encourage more people around them to participate in ecological and environmental protection work, contributing their own strength to building a better home together!
At the same time, all colleagues who participated in the tree planting activity visited the production line of Southern CIMC, and experienced the advanced technologies such as streamline, mechanization, automation, operation standardization, layout logistics lean, and synchronous box transfer in the workshop on site. They listened to their lean concept. Many colleagues expressed that this is their first time walking into a container production workshop, experiencing the working environment of CIMC's frontline workshop up close, and gaining a deeper understanding of production, manufacturing, and other aspects.
In March 2021, under the leadership of Gao Xiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Group, the General Party Branch of the Group Company jointly planted the first "CIMC Pioneer Forest" in the CIMC Industrial Park for the first time. This year, the Party branch of the group company set out again to plant the second piece of "CIMC Pioneer Forest". In the future, China International Marine Containers Group's party organizations, league organizations and volunteer organizations at all levels will take the "CIMC Pioneer Forest" as a starting point to promote green development, advocate green and low-carbon development and lifestyle, and make greater contributions to achieving China's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals and maintaining global ecological security.
